The results of the Edison project have been:

  • the establishment of a trans-national and trans-sectoral network on entrepreneurship education;

  • a flexible, transnational Edison ‘train the trainer programme’ for entrepreneurship conducted through an innovative pedagogy in a blended learning environment;

  • the recognition by learners that entrepreneurship is as important as a skill as their own vocational specialism;

  • The integration of language learning in the workplace according to the CLIL methodology.

The project has had a positive impact on the ability of teachers and trainers to understand and teach entrepreneurship. Through a large scale dissemination and valorisation campaign, policy and decision makers have been involved in an entrepreneurial dimension in the curriculum and enterprising teaching in core subjects. Links with existing and future European and international projects devoted to development of innovative education strategies have also increased the impact of this project.
